The cross of Jesus provides identity.
It determines who I am.
As I embrace it, I am defined
more and more by the One
who loved me,
more and more by the gift bestowed
through what happened on it.
My identity encompasses
the fact that I am needy and blessed,
broken and healed ~
created, fallen, and redeemed.

I am who I am by His grace.
